Truck Cap Warranty
3-Year Limited Warranty
For three years from the date of purchase, OPENROAD will provide replacement parts, at our discretion, for eligible defects in materials or workmanship at no cost to the customer. OPENROAD will provide the approved replacement parts, but the customer is responsible for installation and any related labor costs.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser who purchased the product directly from OPENROAD4WD.com or an authorized OPENROAD dealer. It does not apply to second-hand purchases. If the product was purchased from an authorized dealer, proof of purchase must be provided when submitting a warranty claim.
Our warranty does not cover certain issues, including but not limited to the following:
(1)Normal wear and tear, fading, scratches, dents, cosmetic blemishes, or other appearance changes that do not affect the normal function of the Truck Cap.
(2)Damage caused by improper installation, incorrect assembly, unauthorized repair, modification, misuse, abuse, negligence, overloading, or failure to follow the installation and usage instructions.
(3)Damage caused by accidents, collisions, road hazards, off-road impacts, falling objects, vandalism, severe weather, acts of nature, or other external forces.
(4)Water or dust intrusion caused by incorrect installation, misaligned seals, damaged seals, vehicle-bed deformation, or failure to maintain the sealing components properly.
(5)Damage caused by attaching, mounting, or carrying accessories or cargo that exceed the Truck Cap’s specified load capacity.

(6)Labor costs, installation fees, removal costs, reinstallation costs, transportation expenses, loss of use, or other incidental or consequential costs.
To submit a warranty claim, please contact OPENROAD Customer Service and provide your order number, proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and clear photos or videos showing the affected area.
Awning & Roof Top Tent Warranty
3-Year Limited Warranty
For 3 years from the date of purchase, OPENROAD will replace ,at our discretion, defective parts at no cost to the customer. OPENROAD will provide replacement parts, but the customer will be responsible for installation.
This warranty applies only to customers who purchased directly from OPENROAD4wd.com or an authorized dealer and does not cover second-hand purchases. If you purchased from an authorized dealer, please submit proof of purchase with any warranty claims.
Our warranty does not cover all issues, such as the ones below:
(1)UV damage: ultra-violet damage to fabric or gel coat.
(2)Normal wear and tear, cosmetic blemishes occurring as a result of use
(3)Damage caused by the customer (misuse, accident, abuse, etc.)
(4)Damage caused by acts of nature (storm damage,wind damage, etc.)
(5)Aesthetic changes that do not affect the general operation of the Awning or Roof Top Tent
(6)If the product is arbitrarily repaired or modified by the customer.
Electric Winch Warranty
3-Year Limited Warranty
We offer a lifetime warranty on the mechanical parts and a three-year warranty on the motor. For three years from the date of purchase, OPENROAD will replace (at our discretion) defective parts at no cost to the customer. OPENROAD will provide replacement parts, but the customer will be responsible for installation. This warranty applies only to customers who purchased directly from OPENROAD4wd.com or an authorized dealer and does not cover second-hand purchases. If you purchased from an authorized dealer, please submit proof of purchase with any warranty claims.
Our warranty does not cover all issues, such as the ones below:
(1) Normal wear and tear, cosmetic blemishes occurring as a result of use;
(2) Fitting of the OPENROAD Product other than in accordance with the Product Information and all relevant vehicle safety and compliance laws, including incorrect fitting;
(3) Using the OPENROAD Product other than for the purpose for which it was originally designed or other than in accordance with the Product Information and all relevant vehicle safety and compliance laws, including unusual, improper or negligent use or misuse or overloading;
(4) Alteration, abuse, acts of nature, terrorism, vandalism, collision, road hazards or adverse conditions;
(5) Formal or informal competitive events, such as racing, rallying, hill climbing, speed trials or similar activities; and/or
(6) Using the OPENROAD Product in underground mining or other highly corrosive environments.
Racks & Cover Warranty
