OPENROAD Wraps Up Overland Expo West 2026
Three unforgettable days. Hundreds of conversations. Countless stories from the trail.
Overland Expo West 2026 has officially come to an end, and we want to thank everyone who stopped by the OPENROAD booth in Flagstaff.
This was our first time exhibiting at Overland Expo West, and the experience exceeded our expectations. From seasoned overlanders to families planning their next weekend trip, we met people from across the country who share a passion for adventure, exploration, and life outdoors.
Real Camp Setups in Action
At Booth L60, we showcased two complete vehicle setups featuring OPENROAD rooftop tents, 270° awnings, shower awnings, truck caps, and water systems.
Instead of simply placing products on display, we wanted visitors to see how OPENROAD gear works together in real camping scenarios. Attendees explored the builds, checked out the details, asked questions, and shared ideas for their own future trips.
What Visitors Loved Most
Throughout the weekend, several products became clear highlights. Many visitors also joined our onsite giveaway while exploring the setups. The giveaway brought extra energy to the booth and gave us more opportunities to connect with overland enthusiasts and hear their real camping needs.
The OPENROAD Truck Cap drew strong interest from truck owners, especially for its clean appearance, modular storage potential, vehicle fitment, and compatibility with future overland upgrades.
The 270° Awning and Sidewall setup also stayed popular throughout the show. Many attendees wanted to see how quickly it could create a large sheltered space for family camping, weekend trips, and long-distance overlanding.
Our rooftop tents attracted both experienced overlanders and first-time RTT users, with many questions around sleeping comfort, setup speed, built-in features, and space efficiency.
The Shower Awning and Water System also stood out among family campers, pet owners, and visitors looking to make camp life more comfortable. For many people, these were the pieces that helped turn a vehicle setup from simply “ready to drive” into truly “ready to stay.”
A Community Built Around Adventure
One of the biggest takeaways from the show was seeing how diverse today’s overland community has become.
We met families, weekend explorers, pet owners, builders, creators, dealers, and outdoor enthusiasts looking for practical ways to make camping easier and more enjoyable.
It reminded us of something we deeply believe: outdoor gear should help more people get outside, not make the experience more complicated.
Thank You, Flagstaff
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth, asked questions, shared your build, joined the giveaway, or simply said hello.
The conversations we had in Flagstaff are already helping us improve future products and develop better camping solutions for the overland community.
We’re just getting started.
See you on the trail.
