We love our 180 awning and side wall is perfect but have to order two more side A and B. I have been talking to Daniel regarding my bolts doesn’t work on my primsu roof rack. He is amazing he went above and beyond helping me and solving my issues.

I love my racks. I use them every day for work and play. However, when I received them, one of my mounting plates was bent but good thing I had a rubber mallet in the back of my truck and I was able to fix the problem. Other than that I will order from open road again. I’m thinking about getting the awning.
The instructions weren't very helpful. I had to find a YouTube video for assistance. I think a 3rd bracket for the bed rail system would make it more secure.
This cover is fantastic. Great quality for the price,installation wasn't bad and I was able to mount my sport bar with some modifications. Very happy with cover.
Very happy with the bed cap. It is very solid and installed perfectly. It did take a little while to assemble but all bolt holes lined up. It took about 3-1/2 hours to assemble with two people. It is weather tight and looks great on the truck. I also like the added security. I would definitely recommend
Once mounted this awning is rock solid! Have it mounted on a Prinsu Pro rack with the Prinsu quick dosconnect mounts. Easy to use, easy to repack. Very happy customer.
This awning is amazing and has great coverage. Installed on my 08 Honda Element and Yakima cross bars. I also picked up the shower awning and can vouch, both items function perfectly!
So far appears to be a solid built product and a great idea. Had some issues with receiving the mounting brackets and took matters into my own hands and bought them separately. Openroad did take a few days to respond but when they did they offered to reimburse me without me even asking which says a lot. Usually you gotta fight companies to make things right these days so I’m a happy camper.
Love the awning, deploys and retracts well. Love the fact that it’s freestanding and has poles incase of Windy conditions. Wife really loves the choice of light settings.
My only complaint is that the back of the awning cover is a tight fit and after the third use the rear of the cover ripped when trying to zip it closed( as can be seen by the picture attached.)

Finally got to put the Open Road 270° Awning to the test over the Fourth of July weekend on San Diego Bay, and it absolutely delivered.
The install on my Chevy Silverado was straightforward, and the quality was obvious right out of the box. The material is heavy-duty, the zippers are solid, and the mounting hardware feels built to last. Once it was opened up, it created a huge shaded area, and before long it became the spot where everyone gathered throughout the day.
Even with the breeze coming off the bay, the awning stayed stable and gave us plenty of protection from the sun. It packed up easily when it was time to head home, and everything fit back into the storage bag without a fight.
If you’re looking for a durable, easy-to-use 270° awning for overlanding, camping, or beach days, I definitely recommend checking out Open Road Off-Road. This awning has already become one of my favorite upgrades on the truck.
Love the product my only concern is more on my end. My rig is eight ft tall and reaching the awning can be tricky. I have a collapsible ladder and some parachute cord handle extenders :). Pretty legit awning all things being equal.
Better packaging, two orders and both had finish rubbed off down to bare metal. I have the ability to correct the issue to prevent corrosion, but that shouldn’t be necessary. I would rather correct the finish issue rather than send the product back and just take a chance of the same thing happening again.
These are clearly built for shorter vehicles. I had the add 24” Velcro straps to replace the 2” straps it came with to get it to hang low enough when deployed. Getting it back in the case I have to put my cooler on top of an aluminum bench, but well worth the effort for a hot shower while boondocking. Would be simple for openroad to sell a van adaption kit as an accessory🤷♂️
Love it. Purchased both the tonneau cover and rack for my truck. Both came in great shape. Instruction were hard to understand but a few extra minutes of watching install videos made it a breeze. Definitely a great purchase and addition to my truck.
It came with some bent spots along where it meets up with the truck bed but i just used a rubber mallet. The instructions need improvement on how to mount everything for a 25 chevy colorado trail boss. I had to bend out the clamps to mount the cap. There is no place to mount the wiring for the third light or the led light bar and mine didn't come with 3m double sided tap so putting some extra holes along all the support ribbing to zip tie would be nice. My brake light had no blue or whit with strip as said in instructions for wiring and it would have been nice to have a second quick splice for the wiring. I have the 270 awning as well and the mounting direct to the factory top rail was me just guessing as the installation manual didn't depict mounting it in this way nor were the mounting hardware ment to it seemed. Nothing insurmountable but for $3000 it could have been better.
