The OPENROAD 270 plus awning with sidewalls is a great bit of kit that is so easy to setup and take down. The awning walls come in a very convenient storage bag that I found much easier to use than other companies storage bag options. The setup was a big hit at the JustgoXplore Expo in NH.
The quality is fantastic! I also have the 90° awning on the other side. I did my research and Open Road is top-notch.
Well everything has gone ok with install. I just am wandering why there is no more side panel for the close in room. I seem to be missing the last one on the plus side. any help would be grateful. thanks Pete
Awning was very sturdy and easy to assemble!
Well i just got it installed.i had to make special brackets scince my van has an exstended roof and a sliding door. That was a challenhe but i k ew that was going to have to happen in my oroiginal design . Iam totally impressed with the engineering and quality on this and my open road shower is above exelent.
Going camping tomorrow I'll send pics when ever I get home.
I have question. How much square footage dosr the 270 plus offer? and how far dose it come out from the side of the rig?
So far the Awning 270+ plus sidewalls has been great. Just went to an OpenRoad event where the wind was very aggressive. I had everything strapped down and anchored. The sidewalls really blew but everything held up well with no damage. I found the wind limit I'm comfortable with so a good outing.
Ordered the side walls for my 270 Plus awning and all in good order except I’m missing one of the side walls. There are 6 side walls to enclose the whole area but the last one at the front of the awning / vehicle is missing. Hard to protect from the elements when there is a large gap for rain, snow or sun to come in. I tried to contact customer support several times and not getting any response. The product seems good but if not complete then it doesn’t do much good.
Solid product and easy to use with 1 person! Everything is great and I’m very happy with this awning. The bag the walls come in seemed unfinished with a noticeably cheaper zipper, which failed pretty much right away. I Would absolutely recommend this to others. after setting up and getting comfortable there’s no going back!
Got this for my Son and family, they love camping and being outdoors,. They love it.
