Just what I was looking for! Works great with my openroad shower awning and swings in out of the way of my camper door for much easier access. I had to use heavier duty awning brackets other than the ones that came with the shower awning due to them bending with the added weight. Thankfully I had some laying around. Instructions for installation would also be helpful but I managed to get it installed before a 3,000 mile road/camping trip and it held up.
This awning swingout is great as it allows access to the driver side door of my vehicle which i did not have before installing the swingout. It is pretty well constructed. i still need to use an extra rope/pulley in order to help with the weight of the awning so it stays level. If i don't use a rope the awning sags a bit from the weight. The brackets that come with the awning could be a bit stronger and nicer looking. Very easy installation and did exactly what i needed.
The functionality of it was great, it came with no instructions. Part of my hose wouldn’t line up, so I had to re-drill a couple of them. At the end of the day it works and functions as I needed to do so.
