Although FedEx crushed the box, open road uses plenty of foam to protect the heavy winch and prevented any damage to my winch. I purchased this winch for my 1985 Jeep CJ 7. The reviews I read and the you tube videos I watched all had goo things to say about these winch. I must admit, I am very happy with my unit. It came with 2 remote control units and 1 hard wired switch. The unit bolted right onto my mounting tray with the included hardware and the wires are more than long enough for me to do a clean wiring install. Everything needed was included and I did not have any issues. Great winch. Looks awesome as well.

The winch self destructed while loading a Honda onto my 22’ flat bed trailer. The left front mounting bolt stripped out of the casting allowing the unit to twist itself apart. Got one and one half cars loaded before catastrophic failure. Would like a total refund please. Had to get a Badlands at Harbor Freight that has performed perfectly with the next eight cars.

Came broken, response time from company has been terrible. Still waiting for a response has been weeks, one response I received to damage product was, “the damage appears to be cosmetic and does not affect the normal operation of the winch. It should still function properly once installed.” These are broken metal parts of the winch. So I now have a “cosmetically” broken winch. A Brand new winch with electrical box just expected to ride on cable and expected to be acceptable by the company. 0/10 recommend this company now.

So far I've only pulled my truck up a slight grade in neutral to spool the winch line tight, but it works great and has a faster speed than I thought it would. After I gotta rescue someone or myself I'll have more info.

Haven't put it to the real test yet but I set it up so that I can move it from my flatbed trailer to my truck during hunting season. Before the next hunt I will have a setup up front too. The winch cost less than what I paid to be winched out of the sank to the frame mud.

4 gauge wire on a 13.5 winch is too small for the type of weight this winch is supposed to pull. It should be 2 gauge wire and is specified as such on the Australian website. But nowhere on the US website does it say what size wire that says other than how long it is? This needs to have two gauge wire other than that the winch is beautiful and mounted gwell. I’m worried about the four gauge I wires heating up and becoming A fire hazard

Just installed and wanted to test before hitting any trails. Installed in a 2023 Colorado w/DV8 front bumper (great fit). Winch arrived sooner than expected, packaging was great! Tested all remotes (2 wireless, 1 wire) and all worked great during testing. Trust that if ever needed out on a trail it is more than capable for my application. Customer service has also been great!

So far I love it. I installed it behind the bumper of my 2012 Silverado using an eBay mount and it fit easily. I purchased the extension for the remote and mounted it also on the lower bumper for easy access.
Pros: Lots of winch for the money and loads of power for the tasks I’ve given it so far, ease of operations, and range of wireless remotes.
Cons: should have included a powered interruption kill switch. Buttons on wireless remotes tend to stick which almost led to a bad situation, particularly considering no kill switch.
