OPENROAD at SEMA 2025: Our Off-Road Gear on Display—Show Wrap-Up
SEMA 2025 has officially wrapped, and we’re still riding high from all the great connections and feedback! At our booth, we focused on what we do best: tough overlanding gear built from years of real-world testing and off-road trips. No flashy tricks—just products that prove OPENROAD’s ability to create comfortable, functional outdoor spaces that hold up when you’re out there living it. This show wasn’t about putting on a show; it was about showing what our gear can actually do for fellow adventurers.

Spacious, Low-Key Vibe + Perfect Fit for Every Adventure Rig
Toyota Landcruiser: The ultimate off-road legend deserves gear that matches its toughness. Our Aluminum Hard Shell Roof Top Tent mounts securely on its rugged roof rails, while the 270° Free Standing Awning extends over the side to create a shaded lounge—perfect for post-trail relaxation after tackling rough terrain. It’s a match made for remote camping trips where reliability matters most.

Ford Hummer: Bold, powerful, and built for adventure—our gear rises to the occasion. The Aluminum Hard Shell Roof Top Tent fits perfectly on its heavy-duty roof rack, and the 270° Free Standing Awning spans the vehicle’s wide stance, creating a spacious outdoor living area. Whether you’re hitting the dunes or exploring backroads, this combo balances the Hummer’s rugged spirit with everyday usability.

Tesla (Model Y/3 Highland/Juniper): For the modern electric adventurer, we’ve designed gear that complements Tesla’s sleek design without sacrificing function. The awning and RTT install easily without disrupting the vehicle’s aerodynamics or battery performance. The 90° awning provides much-needed shade for the panoramic roof (cutting down on interior heat and preserving range), while the lightweight yet durable RTT adds camping capability without weighing down your EV.

Jeep Gladiator: This pickup’s versatility meets its match with our gear. The 270° Free Standing Awning pairs seamlessly with the Gladiator’s open-bed design, extending over the tailgate to create a shaded cooking or seating zone . The Aluminum Hard Shell Roof Top Tent mounts above the cab, keeping the bed free for gear, coolers, or bikes—ideal for weekend warriors who want to maximize storage and comfort.

Every product we brought to SEMA was built to enhance your overlanding experience—no fluff, just stuff that works.

Aluminum Hard Shell Roof Top Tent (RTT): Ditch soggy, tricky tents—this RTT redefines camping comfort. Its rugged aluminum shell shields from wind, rain, and light impacts, while a weather-tight seal locks out moisture and dust. Pop it open in 60 seconds flat (no more fumbling with fabric or stakes!) for an elevated, cozy sleeping space off the ground—goodbye rocks and damp grass. Roomy enough for two adults with headroom to sit and dress, it’s lightweight for EVs and small SUVs but tough enough for off-roading—perfect for weekend warriors or cross-country travelers. Best of all, it’s low-maintenance: fold, lock, and go—no extra storage hassle.

Premium Camping Fridge: The unsung hero of great camping—keeps food and drinks cold (or frozen!) for days, no ice required. Built to the same outdoor-tough standards as our awning and RTT, it’s shock-resistant (handles bumpy trails like a pro) and energy-efficient (runs on 12V vehicle power or a portable bank). No more soggy sandwiches or warm drinks—whether you’re storing fresh veggies for backcountry cookouts, icy beer for tailgates, or frozen meat for week-long trips, it maintains consistent temps even in extreme heat. Compact enough for truck beds, SUV cargo areas, or Gladiator’s open bed, its easy-clean interior makes post-trip cleanup a snap. It’s the small detail that turns “making do” into “living well” outdoors.
