OpenRoad 4WD products have been amazing to use. They come out of the box ready to mount up and are great quality!
I bought the 10 Gallon tank back in April, but did not receive until mid June because of it not by in stock. The tank itself is well built with two or three interior baffles that keeps the water and sound from sloshing back and forth when driving. It works, but the problem I have is they cut corners and cost on a really cheap shower head that leaked right out of the box. I contacted customer service which takes two to three weeks to get back to me and told me they were out of stock of showerheads and ask me if I could buy one and send them the receipt which I bought from Amazon. We'll see how fast they get back to me. Tank good, cheap showerhead BAD.
The shower works well. Plenty of pressure when properly hooked up. Open road again has a great product but it lacks decent instructions on how to use and hook up the system. Its not terribly difficult to piece together if you have experience in these systems. But if you are new to these types of builds maybe grab a friend who knows what they are doing.
Packaged was estimated April 1st, then it changed and I had to buy something else for my trip. Product did not come in time for my trip. I don’t have the opportunity to try your product now. Very very sad wasted that much money :(
Works great I wish there was a 12v or electric pump option available to add.. but I use a portable battery jump starter/air compressor works great..
Just recently purchased the 10 gallon tank and shower awning have only got to use it once but WOW I filled the tank up with water and air and the pressure coming out of the shower sprayer has some serious pressure I am super impressed
Tank is solid. Easily installed with basic tools. The most important feature is the water level sight gauge. This allows you to know how much water there is left without depressurizing the tank, saving time, effort and provides the opportunity to refill before running out. Here in the Utah desert, water can be hard to get. The 10 gallon tank holds approximately 8 gallons when filled to the max level on the gauge. At 25 psi, I measured about 1 gallon per minute using the full shower spray pattern on the shower wand. The customer service team at OpenRoads is to notch.
Really great — quite robust, lightweight, and durable, with good finishes. What I like the most is the water level gauge; I think it’s a great feature. Honestly, to make it 110% amazing, adding a built-in electric pump would be perfect.
Lightweight tank. Great fill level indicator. Im looking forward to putting it to the test with my Openroad water heater soon!

Total GAME CHANGER. I hunt and fish most weekends, and this thing will make clean-up a breeze. My only regret is not getting the larger size.
The pressurized water tank is a game changer. I can store 5 gallons of water on the roof and use it for a shower, dishes, cleaning gear or whatever I need it for. I can always refill and with my compressor I can charge it again. Very convenient. I highly recommend.
Haven’t went camping with it yet, at the shooting range from next two weeks it will get used ..
Tank and components seem to be great quality. Was a little surprised that you lose pressure so fast. But makes since as the water goes down the air cavity gets larger. Have to air it up 3 or so times to get all water out.

This is a sweet combo if you’re looking to take water as well as have some privacy on your next adventure! Easy to mount and set up, easy to use and all around great quality materials. It’s been a blast using these together on my last adventures. Definitely taking it on more!

Water tank and shower component was amazing while I was camping. I took three showers with my little set up because I didn’t have the shower curtain set up. But it still worked really well.

Poor customer service, give me incorrect measurements on your tent size, tank now won't fit with a tent, take days ti get a email response back. I tried other channels for answers but hit a wall.
Open Road water tank arrived packaged well. I had to re paint the tank due to poor paint coverage and missed areas. Construction looks good, quality of attachments is poor. In the end I’ve decided to dismount it and put my other water tank back on my vehicle. This one will I will not be using.

I paid everything up front and bought more items after that. but never did it say on your website that you were out stock on certain items and I had to wait? Then it said it was delivered even thought I sent a bunch of emails asking where my items were? no response. It took weeks for you to respond and to tell me I had to wait for my items that I paid in full is crazy. Bad customer service.
This water tank is a must-have for camping. Nothing worse than sliding into a sleeping bag with a sticky dirty body. Quality made light weight aluminum design. Good water pressure out of the adjustable shower head. All mounting methods vary depending on your setup. I needed to make simple brackets to mount to my Openroad bed rack.
I have not had the chance to use it. I am still waiting for you to ship me the shower enclosure that I was planning on using with it.
Tank is very long and difficult to add to rig with a tent topper. Would be better if it were the same length as the 5 gallon, but wider. Fit on top of cab where the shower goes.
Love it! Works great for long road trips. The awning is nice and dries quick in the sun!
