Everything about my overland setup so far has worked for me. The awning and the enclosure for it. Works great. The only thing I would recommend for change is the tie down stakes. They come in the kits around 6 inches long. Ive purchased longer rods to make my own but I think a 12 stake would work better. Aside from that. The awning has been used at least 5 times while ive been out doing fishing trips customers. Camping trips have been flawless as well. The awning, awning walls, recovery strap and soft shackles all work perfectly. I look forward to many more trips and usage of these products.

Love it! It was easy to install and the quality is great. I can tell it will last very long. It held up in 20 mph winds without the guy lines.

The sidewalls are great. Makes the canopy even better. The only downside is it doesn't make a complete enclosure, so the bugs at night can be bothersome when the canopy lights are on.

Love all my open road products… all I need now is the roll back bed cover..

It’s our living room when camping. Absolutely love it. Bit pricey, but hey it is what it is.

Very easy set up, love the color marked zippers.

Wow! It creates a space to close out weather. Keep things dry even in sideways rain. Absolutely perfect accessory.

Perfect for blocking that last part off for a bit more wind coverage.

Maybe it's fine without a breeze. We've had the walls set up for a full day and are repeatedly having to drive stakes back down. If you get them tight the wind whips back and fprth and loosens them again, eventually pulling the stales put of the ground. No way to tighten mid panel at the bottom. Only at rch end. Which, again, leads to the wind whipping the loose bottoms of the panels. SURE, the zippers work GREAT. The panels aren't labeled and are different sizes, so we spent a half hour flipping them from one spot to anpther to figure out what went where. This part confuses me because any tent I've had was color coded to easily match up what went where. Also, every tent I've ever used had tabs inside the fabric that hooked around the poles. None on this. Just a loose curtain with a few holes at the bottom for anchoring. The awning is fast and easy but the side walls seem to have been designed by am engineer who's never camped or used an easy up. Do better, Openroad!! Just while I've been typing two stakes have pulled up AGAIN. Horrible design. Fail.

Provide shades when daytime, and when the sun is down, it provides lights around the campsite. High quality builds, strong enough to hold me, built in LEDs, and the awning walls. Openroad 270 awning is like multi tool in one!

Works well at keeping winds from creating havock. Well packaged with heavy bags for carrying needed supplies. Not marked for placement positions two red zippers two black on sidewalls curtains. Could have used longer mounting brackets to attach to rack on truck but overall liked it.

Love these sidewalls! Just what I needed to create an extra outside room for my small overland camper. Would buy again and again.

The OpenRoad 270 side panels are a great addition to my overland camper. Fit and finish isn't great but it provides an extra outside room that I didn't have before. The geometry of my camper doesn't allow for a snug and clean fit but I am super happy with it regardless. If anyone has the 270 awning, I would highly recommend the side panels. My camper sits a little taller than standard units but with level ground on all corners, the sidewalls make a complete outside room. The quality of material is excellent. I don't fear a tear or leak at all. My first use was on a hunting trip where it rained the whole first night and following morning. All my gear stored outside the camper was dry.

I test fit the new side walls for my 270 awning today… and I’m officially obsessed. 😂🔥 Snagged them during an early Black Friday sale, and I’m glad I did — huge windows, one with a door, and the whole setup basically turns my Squaredrop camper into an all-season bunker. Montana cold nights and Texas hot summers… I’m ready for both. ❄️🔥⛺️

Sorry about the picture. I love the walls. Quality is superb. The customer help is top notch. The world is a busy place and people are not as friendly but Openroad employees are different. They care. Seriously.

We really loved our awning and now with the side walls we love it even more. The walls are easy to set up and take down and the zippers are smooth. It was nice to be able to get away from the mosquitoes but still have a breeze with the mesh windows.

Seems somewhat well made. I do have a few problems with it though. One of the panels has an open zipper that lays against the vehicle. Over time it will scratch the paint on the car. It looks like maybe there will be an additional panel for that side available at some point. For now I will have to take extra care in keeping the zipper away from the vehicle. It would be nice if the panels were labeled with a number or some type of marking to indicate the order and location. Not to complicated to find the correct order, just more of an annoyance when it’s installed on the wrong section. It would also be nice if there was a better way to cover other areas that are exposed to bad weather. With the awning open and all available walls in place, rain still runs down between the vehicleI and the top of the awning. I do feel that there should be a roof cover to block this from happening.

We spent a great month of adventuring and testing the Openroad 270 awning and wall kit, and let me tell you... the awning walls are truly a gamechanger. The awning walls create an enormous amount of enclosed usable space that is painless to set up and take down. And by enclosed, I mean that in no way does it detract from the feeling of being outdoors, but provides a virtual insect free, added level of privacy (if camping around others), additional protection from the sun, no matter the angle, and a truly cozy, well lit and safe feeling spot to enjoy a great meal and some company once the sun has set. Open up the screened in windows, and welcome in the outdoors (minus all the bugs of course). Additionally, wind and weather are definitely not an issue for your trip any longer with these walls. Another "didn't know I needed, now can't live without" from Openroad!

The side walls were a great addition to my 270° awning, with easy set up and takedown, great protection from the elements, and easy storage!

These side walls got their first use a few days after receiving them. We got hard rain on a hunting trip and the side walls came in clutch keeping everything dry and giving us an area to hang out in while the weather past. They installed easy although it was confusing which ones installed where. But I’m sure after some repetition it would be more clear.

Love this 270° awning. Install was straight foward and easy. Had this awning open in stiff breezes at the beach and had no problems. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a 270 ° awning. The price is right and quality is great.

Hey I've had this awning for about a year now. From a winter in PA to today as I sit outside of Roswell New Mexico. Last night had gusts up to 25mph and this awning and walls held up great! Totally impressed and very satisfied. Looking at the privacy shower next. Customer for life.

It was pretty easy to install, my 2 complaints are that there is a zipper that sets against the door/fender of my bronco and there are no gromets for lashing to the ground in the middle of the panels.

I have been very happy with all our Openroad purchases. We recently were able to put the new awning walls to the test on a camping trip last week and they were awesome. It's nice to be able to get out of the elements when things get a little wet and windy while at camp. Highly recommend getting the awning walls if you have one of their awnings.

Worth every penny! Went camping in a cold breezy day. After setting it up we got to chill inside. It helped a lot from the cold and wind.

Purchased the 270 awning with sidewalls! Really impressed with both. Haven’t had the need for the sidewalls yet but did try them on at home. They were super easy to install and went back in the bag easily!

These awning walls were amazing. Great quality made to fit with no issues. Use them during a heavy snowfall trip and they worked perfectly to block the wind and also maintain a warmer atmosphere than outside the tent. I’m thoroughly impressed, as a full-time Overlander, I will surely be taking this with me on every trip I can.
